It also houses a built-in thermal sensor that shuts off power to each connected appliance if any of the sockets overheats. Easy to Set Up

The DSP-W245 lets you connect up to four appliances for control via your smart home network. Just plug it into a wall outlet then plug each of your devices into the power sockets. Each socket features independent power switch so you can power on or off your device of choice quickly at the touch of a button. To set up, simply press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button on the DSP-W245 and on your home router to quickly establish a secure connection. Then, start up your mydlink™ app to add the Wi-Fi Smart Power Strip to your list of devices on your smart home network, so you can start automating your appliances right away.
