The Japan Institute for Design Promotion (JDP) has honoured the D-Link Wireless N300 Gigabit Cloud Router (DIR-636L) with a 2012 Good Design Award, recognising outstanding industrial design.

Designed to sit at the centre of today's digital lifestyle, D-Link's cloud router delivers convenience and ease-of-use in an attractive, space-saving housing to meet users' connectivity requirements. The high-performance Wireless N router allows users to have control of their home networks via Smartphones or tablets, from wherever they are, courtesy mydlink™Cloud Services. Benefits of this unique cloud service include the ability to see which devices are connected to a home network, to block unwanted connections and to view the browsing history of each connected device. The router furthermore supports SharePort™ Mobile, making it simple for users to share their files or stream media to their mobile devices from any USB stick connected to the router, anywhere in the house.

"Cloud technology brings convenience to our lives. Our mydlink™ Cloud Services portfolio is growing and the Good Design Award for the Gigabit Cloud Router N300 is testament to our continuing commitment to offering flexibility to customers and making it easier to connect to more. Our cloud portfolio transforms the way that people control, access, view and share their content and devices on their home network" said Harrison Albert, Regional Director at D-Link Middle East & Africa.

As a Good Design Award winner, the D-Link Wireless N300 Gigabit Cloud Router is eligible to bear the 'G-Mark', a trusted symbol globally since 1957 that connects outstanding industry design with everyday life uses.
